We worked with Convegenius to build SwiftChat, an AI-learning app that won Google Play’s Best of India Smartphone App Award 2023 (AI). Kids love apps and hate assignments. Our solution: craft an app experience that gamifies learning, backed by an AI that converses with kids like a classmate. Over 1.5 million downloads and counting, SwiftChat by Convegenius is a success story on breaking barriers to education.
Learning with an AI desk partner
An AI chat-based learning interface, designed keeping in mind students and their needs. Multiple bots that can cater to each situation, from scanning math doubts for breaking down errors to a spelling bee bot to brush up on those i’s and e’s. Ai apps for education should never be boring for students, which was our mantra for Swiftchat.
Bringing the classroom to a screen
Convegenius came to us to find the best way to digitize learning. Before this, they connected with students over WhatsApp. We suggested an engrossing online platform where students could learn with customized AI chatbots. Then our sister effort, Synapse, designed the logo for SwiftChat. An app experience for all students, put together entirely under our roof.
Free to use and available in multiple languages, SwiftChat brings students from both the city and the village to the same screen. We harnessed our UI expertise to design illustrations & icons that were both intuitive and appealing, making the app visually approachable to all students.
Low attention spans, easy distractions, complex UX systems: many things could go wrong with a learning app for kids. From a UX perspective, we designed SwiftChat to be straightforward yet engaging, using simple language and accessible nudges. Live quizzes every evening, extracurricular competitions every few days. Our vision? Uninterrupted learning for students, across the country.
