The Game Plan

Built into our plan for Deltin’s gambling website design was an intensive process of information gathering and research. We held stakeholder meetings and spoke to Deltin’s key customers to understand their online and offline experiences. What were the blindspots? What could be improved? Our on-ground research was the backbone of our design insights.

Can’t Gamble with Efficiency!

One of the crucial pain points that Deltin needed us to address was their booking system. They wanted to reduce the load on their call centers, which were currently swamped with booking inquiries and with calls regarding obvious questions (What is the dress code? Where can my kids wait?). Fulfilling their ask, we crafted an engaging booking system complete with UI nudges, interactive charts to break down information, and clean progress updates. No more queues at the front desk or constant calls.

Dealing Digitally

More than just bookings, we made sure to highlight upcoming events and tournaments occurring at Deltin through banners and interactive touchpoints. The stage for the games should be set before the user steps into the casino! It turns out, however, that most people visiting casinos do not know how to play. Based on this insight, we stocked the Deltin website with videos in an interactive ‘Learn to Play’ section, allowing users to get a virtual flavor of the various games played at the casino.

The Ace in the Business Hole

Something that was entirely missing from Deltin’s previous website was visibility for the MICE industry side of their work. While they are known for their casino cruises, Deltin has a wide variety of services for business meetings, conference venues, exhibitions, and events. For their new website, we created an extensive navigation alongside online journeys for their MICE businesses, digitally driving their operations and growth.
