EMPOWERING COUCH POTATOES WITH TV DECODER APP DESIGN
SURFING A BIG SCREEN
When this Australian android based television service provider wanted to revamp their navigation and UI, they knew exactly who to call. And once we got the call, we knew exactly what to do. Make their users’ IPTV viewing and navigation experience as easy and comfortable as possible through great UX design.
UX MAGIC
When it comes to watching TV, multitasking is the last thing users want. They want entertainment that’s on-the-button. Which is why, the UI/UX is designed to show one functionality of the service at a time. All by laying out selectable tiles in a cover-flow carousel. It works like magic.

BROWSING A BIG SCREEN

UX MAGIC
When it comes to watching TV, multitasking is the last thing users want. They want entertainment that’s on-the-button. Which is why, the UI/UX is designed to show one functionality of the service at a time. All by laying out selectable tiles in a cover-flow carousel. It works like magic.
BIG, BOLD INTERFACE
As all the options and tools appear as large tiles, the indicative captions for each are kept to be bold and legible from a distance. Same goes for the UI's iconography that visualizes each option. Just so users don’t have to move from the couch or strain their eyes to find what they want to watch.
DESIGNED FIRST THINGS FIRST
What is it that you’d want to do right after switching on your TV? Play music, watch shows, or view pictures? It varies from person to person, just as much as it varies for you from time to time. We arranged the most viewed (or most preferred) option first to be seen in the carousel's UI design. It could either be automated or be set manually.
